KAKE KARE

SERVING TIPS

Your Kake must be kept away from direct sunlight. It is strongly recommended to keep your Kake indoors.

They are not meant for the heat or to be out on display for 4+ hours. Depending on filling, your Kake will be best enjoyed at room temperature. For buttercream filled Kakes, take your cake out about 30 to 60 minutes before you plan on serving it, so the buttercream can soften.

Before cutting, remove any 2D/3D decorations that may get in the way. Most figurines or standing decorations are supported by a wire, so make sure they are removed in their entirety. Refer to the video below to help you get the most out of your Kake!

When serving tiered cakes, treat each cake individually. Use a knife or spatula to separate them before cutting. Stacked cakes are usually supported by dowels, so be mindful of them when cutting- it is ideal to remove them before cutting if you're able.

For any allergies or food concerns, feel free to text me for a quick response!

AFTERCARE

If you have any leftovers, store in an airtight container and refrigerate anything overnight. You can enjoy these leftovers for about a week, or depending on your filling, you can likely freeze them as well for a couple months.

I've had clients report back that they enjoyed their leftovers well over a week- it will likely dry out before anything actually spoils, depending what it is of course.

How to get the most slices out of your Kake!

Your Kake is portioned by the cutting technique used in the video. You may have less servings than quoted if using a different method.
