PLAN AHEAD
Planning your order and reserving your date with as much notice as possible is always highly encouraged. I like to take my time on every order to give each client the best experience possible. This usually means I am unable to accommodate last minute requests.
FLAVORS
I offer a variety of preset flavor combinations, or A La Carte options. Your flavor choice(s) will effect your final pricing, as each item/pairing has it's own individual price point.
CAKE DESIGNS
Each Kake is treated as a work of art. If you are looking to have a cake replicated, or you are unwilling to have design flexibility, then I may not be the artist for you. I use any provided photos as inspiration and/or a starting point when discussing your vision. By choosing Kaela's Kakes, you are entrusting me to execute your vision to make you something unique to your event.
I do my very best to adhere to all my client's wishes, but I reserve the right to do what I feel will look best when all the elements come together. I feel this yields the best possible product because I am able to "work my magic" as I see fit.
Similarly, if your design request has hyper-realistic elements, or other things that aren't my esthetic, I may not be the artist for you. I put out the best possible product when I am doing what I love, so it is super important that we are both on the same page and happy to work together.
A mock-up of your cake is available once I am contracted to make your order.
I will not provide a cake design prior to booking.
DELIVERY
Delivery is required for all tiered cakes.
Cakes that are three tiers or more, will likely be assembled on site. I feel it is imperative to make sure your order gets to you as it is intended, so I would like to be responsible for any travel mishaps. Any client that chooses to pick up their order, inherits the responsibility of the cake once it leaves my possession. Before or after-hours pickup/delivery times are subject to an additional fee.
